ANKARA - Daylight saving time ended at 2.00 a.m. on Sunday.
The standard time was set back by one hour at 02.00 a.m.
The daylight saving time started on March 31 by advancing the standard time by one hour in order to save energy.
A total of five billion kilowatthour of electric energy was saved in Turkey since 1990 due to daylight saving time practice.
