IZMIR - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sukru Sina Gurel said on Friday that Turkey can't approve any terrorist activity where ever it takes place and what ever its goal is.
Responding to questions of journalists in western Izmir province about the raid in Moscow theatre and Turkish hostages there, Gurel said that they couldn't get definite information about the hostages, adding that ''getting information about the raid is difficult due to the chaotic situation there.''
''Did Chechen activists call Turkey?'' asked journalists to Gurel who said that ''I don't know whether they called Turkey or not. Of course, there may be terrorists who can call Turkey. Turkey wants peaceful solution of all problems.''
Gurel said that Turkey was affected the most from the terrorist activities, adding that ''we are the first country which called for a joint fight and international cooperation against terrorism. We will never approve a terrorist incident wherever it takes place and whatever its goal is.''
