LEFKOSA - Two earthquakes measuring 4.2 and 3.8 on the Richter scale, shook Cyprus island on Friday morning.
Meteorology Department in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) said that the epicenter of the quake was offshore Guzelyurt and it didn't cause any casualties. The first tremor measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale took place at 04.56 a.m., while the second one measuring 3.8 took place around 05.50 a.m. The quake was felt on the whole island.
