ISTANBUL - Vestel Elektronik Sanayi ve Tic. A.S., a leading durable goods producer in Turkey, issued five-year maturity 75 million euros of debenture bonds.
Sending a statement to the stock exchange on Tuesday, Vestel said that the settlement date of those bonds is October 24, 2007 and the coupon interest rate is EURIBOR plus 9.3 percent.
It said that the issuance was made as ''private placement'' by Cayman islands-based Financial Enterprises Ltd. through the Credit Suisse First Boston International under Vestel Elektronik guarantee.
It added that relevant contracts had been signed as of today and the money would be transferred to the company's accounts in Turkey on October 24, 2002.
