ISTANBUL/KNOKKE - Galatasaray left on Tuesday for Belgium for a Champions League group H match against Club Bruges late on Wednesday.
Prior to their departure from Istanbul's Ataturk Airport, Galatasaray Club's President Ozhan Canaydin told reporters that he was not worried about the match, adding, ''even Galatasaray's experience will be enough for at least a draw. I hope that we would return to Istanbul with a good result.''
Meanwhile, Galatasaray's Vice President and Press Spokesman Ali Durust said, ''if we win this game, we almost guarantee a place in second phase. We have to get point or points from the remaining three matches. And this is one of these matches. I hope we would win at least one point.''
Galatasaray captain and defender Bulent Korkmaz said that they had always achieved the difficult and with the support of Turkish fans living abroad, they would win tomorrow's game.
Meanwhile, coach Fatih Terim told reporters when they arrived in Belgium that it would be a difficult and tough game, but they were obliged to win.
''All my players want to win this match. We are aware that we have to get three points from this match. It will be a very difficult match for both Bruges and Galatasaray,'' Terim said.
