ANKARA - The Embassy of EU Term President Denmark in Ankara said on Tuesday that the EU has not taken a ''decision regarding KADEK''.
Releasing a statement, Danish Ambassador in Ankara Christian Hoppe said, ''according to news reports in today's Turkish media, a decision regarding KADEK should have been taken by the EU. Furthermore, according to the news reports, an official letter should have been sent by the Presidency to the Turkish authorities.''
''In this connection, the Danish Embassy wants to point out that no such decision by the EU has been taken. Moreover, no letter regarding this issue has been sent from the Presidency. Consequently, the news item is without any foundation,'' he said.
Turkish media reported the same day that ''Turkey's request for inclusion of KADEK in the list of terrorist organizations was rejected by the EU Presidency''.
