ESKISEHIR - Some 300 university students from Association des Etats Generaux Etudiants de l'Europe (AEGEE) will attend the Balkan Regional Meeting that will be held at Eskisehir's Anadolu University on Oct. 25-27.
The AEGEE promotes integration in Europe through university education, congresses on a variety of European topics. The organization which was founded by a group of students in 1985 has more than 17,000 members in more than 256 cities. The organization is helping students from different cultures to get to know each other and build trust among them.
Ankara University will host the AEGEE's Balkan Meeting this year. Participating students will have the chance to hold discussions and exchange views. The European students will also go to Olympos in Antalya on Oct. 28-30 and enjoy Turkey's natural richness and historical sites.
