ANKARA - Higher Election Board (YSK) Chairman Tufan Algan said on Tuesday that the issue of People's Democracy Party (DEHAP) is important in respect of election law and political parties.
When journalists asked him if the Board would take a decision about DEHAP today, Algan said that ''no, the issue is important in respect of election law and political parties. The issue will be evaluated broadly and a decision will be given afterwards.''
Supreme Court of Appeals Chief Prosecutor Kanadoglu asked yesterday the Higher Board of Election to re-examine the issue of whether or not Democratic People's Party (DEHAP) would take part in Nov. 3 elections.
