Turker: Fourth Review To Be Completed By Convening Of I.M.F. Executive Directors Board

ANKARA - State Minister Masum Turker said on Tuesday that a majority of the studies regarding the fourth review of the economic programme will be completed during the visit of IMF delegation to Turkey.
Turker said that the fourth review will be completed by convening of the IMF Executive Directors Board.
Responding to questions of A.A correspondent about the studies of the IMF delegation in Turkey, Turker said that the talks with IMF went well.
Referring to the claims saying that the fourth and the fifth reviews would be united, Turker said that ''there is no such statement of the IMF on the issue, the contacts of the IMF delegation still continue.''
Noting that Turkey fulfilled an important part of the commitments regarding the fourth review and the IMF Executive Board Directors Council would hold its meeting about this review after the elections. Turker stressed that the remaining issues will be completed until that meeting.
''The amendments in execution and bankrupt draft law have been completed and the IMF is pleased with the tax law. I only tell the IMF delegation that I wouldn't dismiss personnel in public sector because they will retire themselves. A majority of the deficiencies about the fourth review has been completed,'' he added.
