ANKARA - Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit, while evaluation recess of the Parliament again because of November 3 elections, pointed out that, ''I think discussions regarded with elections will certainly end. I hope it will be beneficial for our nation.''
Political party leaders and administrators evaluated the decisions that were taken after recess of the Parliament.
Justice and Development Party (AK Party) leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, ''I hope it will be beneficial.''
True Path Party (DYP) leader Tansu Ciller said, ''it is extremely positive. The parliament did not lose esteem. DYP always stood on its own line. I hope the elections will be beneficial for our nation. Will of nation is revealed.'' Felicity Party (SP) leader Recai Kutan said parliamentarians of his party proposed to make voting with electronic device, stressing that, ''I am sorry to say that the Parliament Speaker totally acted biased in establishment of Parliamentary Chairmanship Council, and brought two secretaries having the same views. We don't believe that these figures are healthy. An unjust result has been issued in the end.''
Meanwhile, New Turkey Party (YTP) Parliamentary Group Deputy Chairman Oguz Aygun claimed that Parliament Speaker Omer Izgi he displayed a biased attitude.
''He did not take any YTP member to the sitting. He did not have the vote with the electronic system. All of these are unacceptable,'' he said.
When asked whether or not they would launch a new initiative to call parliament to convene in an extraordinary session, Aygun said, ''I cannot say anything at the moment. We will evaluate it.''
Meanwhile, AK Party deputy leader Abdullah Gul said, ''Turkey got rid of a great chaos. If the opposite had happened, Turkey could have faced a great chaos.''
