ANKARA - Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit received Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Tarik Aziz on Tuesday who is visiting Ankara to convey Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's message to the Turkish government.
During his contacts with Turkish officials, Aziz will ask the Turkish side to try to prevent a possible U.S. strike against Iraq. Ankara will ask Iraq to conform with the 16 resolutions of the UN Security Council in order to decrease tension in the Middle East.
