KIRKLARELI - Bulgarian Energy and Energy Resources Minister Milko Kovachev said on Saturday that workings of Turkey and Bulgarian regarding establishment of Turkish-Bulgarian Second 400kw Tranmission Line, was completed successfully, stressing that, ''today's efforts will be a means for future efforts.''
Addressing the opening of tranmission line, Kovachev thanked for the completion of the transmission line, and noted that, ''this success will not only contribute to the relations betwen the two countries but also to the consumers. I think its contribution will particularly be on people who live in border region.''
Kovachev said very big cooperation was needed among the countries in the region to make energy tranmission line more secure, and noted that, ''cooperation is needed to initiate important projects for the region. Turkey and Bulgaria act as bridge regarding energy tranmission lines. By succeeding in this cooperation, we may contribute to the political security and stability in the region.''
Kovachev said successful bilateral relations could be achieved in some other fields apart from energy.
Kovachev said, ''every country has its own national interests. But as the two countries we united our national interests at a point. I believe that this cooperation will continue.''
