Turker To Represent Turkey In Imf-world Bank Annual Meetings

WASHINGTON D.C. - State Minister Masum Turker will represent Turkey in the International Monetary Fund (IMF)-World Bank Annual Meetings to begin in Washington D.C. on Friday.
Turkey, who will be accompanied by a delegation of economy bureaucrats, will hold pre-meetings with IMF officials prior to the fourth review.
The delegation will also meet with officials of the World Bank.
An IMF plan which will re-structure debts of countries facing problems in rolling over their debts is expected to be debated during the meetings.
Meanwhile, former State Minister for economy and Republican People's Party (CHP) candidate deputy Kemal Dervis is currently in Washington D.C. to attend some meetings. Dervis will make a speech on Turkey-European Union (EU) relations at a meeting organized by Ari Movement.
