KONYA - Veli Tolu, lawyer of Necmettin Erbakan, the leader of the banned Welfare Party (RP), said on Wednesday that they would oppose to the rejection of Erbakan's application to run as independent candidate for parliament.
Tolu said they prepared a comprehensive summing up to appeal the decision of Konya Provincial Election Board.
Tolu said they would appeal the case in the afternoon today or in the morning on Thursday.
