Gurel In Washington D.C.

WASHINGTON D.C. - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sukru Sina Gurel arrived in Washington D.C. to meet with the high level U.S. officials following the U.N. General Assembly meetings in New York.
Gurel, who arrived in Washington D.C. by train, responded to the questions of A.A correspondent.
Gurel said a political field emerged that could be worked on after Iraq's decision to admit United Nations (U.N.) weapons inspectors without conditions.
Gurel is expected to meet the U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney, the U.S. President George Bush's national security advisor Condoleezza Rice, the U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, and the U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz today.
Gurel is expected to hold a news conference following the contacts.
