ANKARA - Turkey is pleased with Iraq's accepting arms inspection and the unconditional return of U.N. arms inspectors to Iraq, and noted that the decision is a step taken on the right way.
Diplomatic sources told A.A on Tuesday that Turkey welcomed the recent decision of Iraq.
Recalling that Turkey insistently stressed the importance of the return of U.N. arms inspectors to Iraq and their fulfilling the mission, sources said that Turkey suggested Iraq to do that.
They added that Turkey expects Iraq to ensure the completion of this process for solution of the issue in close cooperation with the U.N. upon the U.N. basis.
