Sezer: I Feel Concern That Decrease In Rate Of Electoral Threshold Might Turn Into An Initative To Postpone Elections

ANKARA - President Ahmet Necdet Sezer said on Tuesday that decrease in rate of national electoral threshold might turn into an initiative to postpone elections.
Prior to his departure for Baku, Sezer answered questions of reporters.
Responding a question that said, ''there have been debates on electoral threshold. What do you think about decrease in rate of this threshold? Do you feel concern that this effort might change into an initiative for postponement of elections?'' Sezer said, ''the purpose is to postpone elections. I feel the concern that decrease in threshold might change into an initiative to postpone elections.''
Responding a question about the Supreme Court of Appeals Criminal Department no:8 decision on rejecting to erase Tayyip Erdogan's criminal record, the President stated that the jurisdiction had taken a definite decision so he could not comment on such a decision.
