World Culture Summit To Be Held In Turkey

ISTANBUL - The third round table meeting of the UNESCO culture ministers will be hosted by the Culture Ministry between September 16-17 in Istanbul.
President Ahmet Necdet Sezer will make the opening remarks of the meeting of which main theme will be ''Abstract Cultural Heritage: Mirror of Cultural Diversity''.
UNESCO Director General Koichiro Matsuura, culture ministers of more than 50 countries and representatives from many countries will attend the meeting.
Letter of invitation was sent to culture minister of 187 countries, reporters named by UNESCO, non-governmental organizations and representatives of religious communities.
