4,467 Persons Return To Their Villages In Sirnak In Last Two Years

SIRNAK - Sýrnak Governor Huseyin Baskaya said on Saturday that southeastern Sýrnak province is one of the provinces where many people left their villages and hamlets due to the terrorist incidents in the past.
The families who left villages and hamlets in 1990s in eastern and southeastern Turkey due to terrorism, started to return back as security has been ensured in the villages. The families who return back repair their houses by the support they get from the governor's offices and head officials.
Baskaya said that people returned back to six villages in the last two years and families started to return back to 12 villages recently.
Noting that 4,467 persons returned back to six villages of Sýrnak, Baskaya said that they expected 25,000 persons to return back to their villages until the end of this year.
