ANTALYA - Efforts continue to find two British tourists who got lost in the mountains around Tunektepe in Goynuk hamlet of Kemer district in southern Antalya province on Tuesday.
Search and rescue team AKUT's Antalya branch members are trying to locate 34-year old Lee Taylon and 30-year old Emen Mella who work at Coca Cola factory in Belgium and who were vacationing in Antalya.
AKUT Antalya representative Yilmaz Sevgul stated that the tourists sent them a message from their cell phones.
Sevgul said that they have determined the region where the two tourists are and asked them to light a fire to help the rescuers locate them more easily. Two rescuers are looking for the two missing tourists in two separate groups.
AKUT also asked for a helicopter from officials to help them find the tourists who have been lost in the mountain for about 16 hours.
