Y.T.P. Introduces Its New Party Symbol

ANKARA - New Turkey Party (YTP) determined ''sun figure comprised of white stars'' as its party symbol.
YTP Secretary General Istemihan Talay held a news conference at party headquarters and said that YTP set off with an understanding of keeping human value above everything.
Talay pointed out that YTP pioneered change in Turkey and continued its political efforts almost in every field to renew Turkey.
Talay said their new party symbol was a figure of sun or a world comprised of stars. He said, ''the stars symbolize people. Every person is a star. New worlds are being formed with the contribution, power, profession, harmonization and unity of people.''
When asked whether or not they would make alliance with Social Democrat People's Party (SHP), Talay said he and YTP leader Ismail Cem had a meeting with SHP leader Murat Karayalcin, stressing that, ''parties apart from those two parties are not in our agenda. We only stated that we are open to cooperation only with SHP.''
