ANTALYA - Antalya International Airport will have a second international line terminal.
State Airports Administration (DHMI) Director General Mahmut Tekin told the A.A on Wednesday that ''2nd International Terminal'' would be set up with built-operate-transfer model and added that an international tender would be opened for the construction of the terminal.
Tekin said that Tender Commission continued its work on the terminal and added that the tender would be held between mid-October and beginning of November.
He said that Antalya Airport international line terminal reach full capacity some days and it will not meet the passenger capacity in future.
Tekin said that State Planning Organization (DPT) and Treasury Undersecretariat decided that the airport needed a new terminal.
He added that the terminal would be built on 60,000 square meters.
