MORE THAN 100 HOUSES AND BUSINESS PLACES INUNDATED
ISTANBUL - Torrential rains which started earlier on Tuesday, paralyzed daily life and traffic in Istanbul.
Flood waters triggered by torrential rains inundated more than 100 houses and business places in Eminonu, Beyoglu, Kagithane and Sisli districts.
Many vehicles waited for a long time to pass from Bogazici and Fatih Sultan Mehmet brigdes connecting the two sides of the Istanbul Strait.
Meanwhile, a road collapsed partially in Dortkuyu Street in Kasimpasa neighborhood due to flood waters. The street was closed to vehicles and pedestrians.
