BAKU - Resat Dogru, State Minister and co-chairman of Turkey-Azerbaijan Joint Economic Commission, said on Monday that Turkey and Azerbaijan have intense relations since Azerbaijan gained its independence, noting that cooperation was made in various fields. Dogru said, ''Azerbaijan is our own country.''
Dogru, currently in Baku on an official visit, met Azerbaijani Agriculture Minister Irshad Aliyev.
Speaking at the meeting, Dogru said cooperation in agriculture developed, noting that Turkey conveyed its agricultural experience to improve agriculture in Azerbaijan.
Dogru pointed out that various agriculture equipment which various companies in Turkey donated to Azerbaijan, would contribute to agricultural development, noting that Turkey would contribute to the establishment of a ''center laboratory'' in Azerbaijan to make various searches in various issues.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijani Agriculture Minister Irshad Aliyev said the machines would increase the productivity of Azebaijani farmers, noting that cooperation would increase.
