Fischer: It Will Be Historic Stupidity To Prevent Turkey's E.U. Perspective

BERLIN - German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer said on Friday that it will be historic stupidity to prevent Turkey's EU perspective.
Addressing to students in Kassel University, Fischer said that it would be a great mistake to prevent the EU membership perspective of Turkey.
If EU perspective was not given to Turkey, the adjustment laws would not be adopted by Turkey for years, said Fischer and noted that Turkey's joining the EU is very important for Europe's stability.
