DOGUBAYAZIT - A total of 52 Iranian mountaineers, including 20 women, reached the summit of Agri Mountain on Friday.
Bulent Unlu, the Izmir Civil Defense Directorate Search and Rescue Group Chairman, talked with A.A correspondent on the phone and said that the Iranian mountaineers reached the summit of 5,137 metres thanks to good weather conditions.
Unlu said that all mountaineers were in good health condition.
They would descend to 4,200 metres and spend the night there, Unlu added.
The Iranian mountaineers are expected to end their climbing on August 18.
