IZMIR - Selcuk Mayor Vefa Ulgur said on Thursday that Formula One Administration (FOA) chief executive Bernie Ecclestone used the expression ''perfect'' for the field they planned to allocate for Formula One car races.
Ecclestone, who came to western Izmir province to examine locations where Turkey leg of Formula One car race will be held, proceeded to Selcuk and visited a location in Pamucak.
Ulgur told reporters that he informed Ecclestone about their plans for car races in Pamucak and said that running track links were an important advantage.
''Ecclestone used the expression 'perfect' for the location in Pamucak. Efes' name is on the agenda for one or two months. Ephesus has created positive ideas for Ecclestone,'' Ulgur added.
Ecclestone said that Ephesus was ''very impressive and perfect'' but refrained from commenting on locations planned to be used during Formula One car races.
