Independent Deputy Yilmaz Joins C.H.P.

ANKARA (A.A) - 12.08.2002 - Independent deputy from Gaziantep province Mustafa Yýlmaz joined the Republican People's Party (CHP) on Monday.
In the petition he sent to Parliament Speaker's Office, Yýlmaz said that he will continue politics as a member of CHP from now on.
The number of political parties represented in the parliament by Yýlmaz's joining CHP increased to 10.
Yýlmaz had resigned from Democratic Left Party (DSP) and from his post as the State Minister.
The number of independent deputies in the parliament decreased to 16 and CHP got one deputy in the parliament with this development.
