Turkey To Host World Mining Congress In Antalya

ANKARA (A.A) - 11.08.2002 - Turkey National Committee will host the World Mining Congress in Antalya on Oct. 6-10, 2002.
Turkish mining sector will be discussed into depth at this congress which is held every two years in different countries. About 200 sector representatives are expected to attend the meeting. Turkish mining, Turkey's marble potential and environment, privatization in Turkey, gold mining in Turkey and boron potential in Turkey will be the main topics of the congress.
The mining law which is currently discussed at Parliament and legal changes that are to be made in the environment law will also be discussed throughout the congress.
