23 Political Parties Will Join Elections

ANKARA (A.A) - 05.08.2002 - The Higher Board of Elections (YSK) announced on Sunday that 23 political parties would join the general elections to be held on November 3, 2002.
YSK issued a statement in which it noted that 23 out of 48 political parties had the requirements to join the elections under existing laws.
Below listed the political parties that can join the November 3 elections:
Justice and Development Party, Motherland Party, Brilliant Turkey Party, Independent Turkey Party, Grand Unity Party, Republican People's Party, Democrat Party, Democratic Turkey Party, Democratic People's Party, Democratic Left Party, True Path Party, Labor Party, People's Democracy Party, Workers' Party, Liberal Democrat Party, People's Party, Nationalist Movement Party, Freedom and Solidarity Party, Felicity Party, Turkish Communist Party, New Turkey Party, Re-birth Party and Homeland Party.
