Kayseri Exports Marble To United States And Italy

KAYSERI (A.A) - 04.08.2002 - Cevikler Marble Limited Company based in Pinarbasi town of central province of Kayseri, exported 2 million U.S. dollars of marble to the United States and Italy in the first half of the year.
Cevikler Limited Company Executive Board Chairman Aziz Cevik told the A.A correspondent on Sunday that they extracted yellow, brown and dark brown marble from the quarries in Yildizeli township of central province of Sivas and in Pinarbasi.
''We process the marble, and turn it into 20 different types of products such as mosaic and wall tie. We export 95 percent of our products to the United States and Italy. We exported 2 million 180 thousand U.S. dollars of marble to the United States and Italy in the first half of the year. We are planning to export marble to Britain, France and the Netherlands,'' he added.
