ANKARA (A.A) - 03.08.2002 - State Minister Kemal Dervis said on Saturday that adoption of the bills package on adjustment with the European Union (EU) was ''very pleasing''.
Answering questions of reporters at Ankara's Esenboga Airport, Dervis said, ''the parliament has fulfilled a great job. I suppose that all of us are very happy today.''
Stressing that adoption of bills package also opened an important door, Dervis, ''I think that we will altogether walk through this door toward more pleasing and prosperous days. We have to really appreciate the parliament.''
Noting that as a Turkish citizen, he wanted to thank everybody who contributed to adoption of this reforms package, Dervis said he wanted to thank all leaders, especially Mesut Yilmaz.
Meanwhile, Dervis left Ankara for Istanbul.
