ISTANBUL (A.A) - 02.08.2002 - Korean Republic Information and Communication Ministry and War Veterans Association started to give free computer lessons to the children and grandchildren of veterans.
Turkey Korean War Veterans Association chairman Gultekin Alpugan who spoke at the opening of the course on Friday said that Turkey had showed best example of human rights during Korea War.
Alpugan said that the computer course was one of the best examples of the friendship between Turkey and Korea.
Korean Information and Communication Ministry's education team Neo-Korea chairman Sung-Won Jung said that they had preparations for the course for two months and added that this could not be a response to Turkish people, but they could at least show their friendship with this course.
Korean Culture Center Director Yongdurk Park said that the World Cup brought together people of the two countries rapidly.
A total of 65 people attended the computer course which will last 15 days.
