LONDON/ANKARA (A.A) - 02.08.2002 - International investment consultation organization Schroder Salomon Smith Barney (SSSB) said on Friday that Turkey had recorded progress in approval European Union (EU) reforms.
Releasing a statement, SSSB underlined importance of Turkey's fulfilling Copenhagen Criteria.
The statement noted that although political maneuvers had the potential of spoiling developments, Turkish parliament had begun to approve the EU reforms.
It added that acceleration in approval of reforms was faster than what was expected.
