WASHINGTON D.C. (A.A) - 31.07.2002 - Halil Bezmen, a businessman who is wanted in Turkey for smuggling of historical works of art and falsifying documents, will be brought to court in the U.S. soon.
Bezmen was taken into custody in the U.S. as his visa in the U.S. ended and the American officials didn't extend his visa.
Bezmen won't be able to be released on bail.
Turkish officials are in close cooperation with the U.S. Department of Justice regarding Bezmen, sources said.
