ANKARA (A.A) - 22.07.2002 - Nural Karagoz, a deputy from Kirklareli province, resigned from the Democratic Left Party (DSP) on Monday.
After resignation of Karagoz, the number of DSP seats in the parliament reduced to 64 and the number of deputies resigned from DSP increased to 64.
Meanwhile, the total number of coalition government's seats in the parliament fell to 270.
Karagoz is among the founding members of the new political party ''New Turkey''.
