ANKARA (A.A) - 21.07.2002 - International Monetary Fund's (IMF) Turkey Desk Chief Juha Kahkonen who concluded his works, is expected to depart from Turkey on Monday after holding a press conference.
Sources told the A.A correspondent on Sunday that the new letter of intent was finalized.
The letter of intent will be submitted to the approval of Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit, State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Devlet Bahceli and State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Mesut Yilmaz.
Later, the letter of intent will be signed by State Minister Kemal Dervis for Economy and Central Bank Governor Sureyya Serdengecti, and sent to the IMF.
The IMF Board is expected to discuss the letter of intent in August, and released another tranche of loan of 1.1 billion U.S. dollars.
Following the fourth review in October, the IMF is expected to release the last tranche of loan of 1.5 billion U.S. dollars.
