Cem Says His Target Is To Form Turkey Coalition

KAYSERI (A.A) - 18.07.2002 - Ismail Cem who resigned from his post as the foreign minister and from the Democratic Left Party (DSP) and who started studies to found a new party, came to central Kayseri province on Thursday.
Addressing the citizens, Cem said that they target to rebuild Turkey together with workers, labourers, villagers, tradesmen, industrialists, youngsters and women.
''We want to further develop our country by respecting the principles of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of modern and secular Turkey, and by respecting both secularism and religious beliefs,'' Cem said.
Cem stressed that the lack of production, unemployment and inequality are the most important problems of the country, adding that he aims to form a country-wide coalition to overcome these problems.
