ANKARA (A.A) - 14.07.2002 - Turkey and Spain will sign a memorandum of understanding which targets improvement of cooperation. The Memorandum of Understanding is expected to be signed in Ankara on July 15.
Foreign Ministry issued a statement and said the Memorandum of Understanding envisages cooperation between Turkey and Spain in tehnics and environment in Turkey's full membership process to the EU.
The Memorandum of Understanding will be signed by Foreign Ministry Deputy Undersecretary Akin Alptuna and Antonio Perez-Hernandez, the Spanish International Cooperation Agency responsible for relations with Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.
