Torrential Rains Hit Adapazari And Izmit

ADAPAZARI/IZMIT (A.A) - 14.07.2002 - Torrential rains paralyzed daily life in Adapazari and Izmit provinces on Saturday.
Houses and workplaces were inundated by torrential rains in Adapazari. Traffic was paralyzed due to the rain while efforts to discharge water from streets and inundated places were under way.
Torrential rains also hit Izmit province. Ground floors of houses and workplaces were flooded and traffic was paralyzed.
Efforts to discharge water from inundated places continued in Izmit.
