Kahkonen Meets Privatization Administration Board President Bozkurt

ANKARA (A.A) - 12.07.2002 - International Monetary Fund (IMF) Turkey Desk Chief Juha Kahkonen on Friday met Privatization Administration Board President Turgut Bozkurt.
Kahkonen did not respond to the questions of reporters following the meeting.
Meanwhile Bozkurt said they discussed privatization program.
When asked whether or not effects of political developments were discussed in privatization program, Bozkurt said, ''we have not discussed political uncertainty because we have focused on the program. We cannot use any issue other than the privatization work as pretext and we have to go on with this understanding. We continue to work in line with the program.''
