Basketball: 8th International Turgut Atakol Tournament

ISTANBUL (A.A) - 10.07.2002 - The Eighth International Turgut Atakol Basketball Tournament that is organized in memory of legendary Turkish basketball player Turgut Atakol will be held in Istanbul between July 11-13.
Turkey A and Turkey B teams, Russia and Israel will compete in the tournament that will take place at the Abdi Ipekci Sports Hall.
Turkey became the champions of this tournament in 1995, 1998 and 1999, Yugoslavia won this tournament in 2000 and 2001, Croatia became the champions in 1994 and Lithuania won the cup in 1996.
