State Minister Mustafa Yilmaz Resigns From His Office And D.S.P.

ANKARA (A.A) - 09.07.2002 - State Minister Mustafa Yilmaz resigned on Tuesday from his office and Democratic Left Party (DSP).
The resignation of Yilmaz, who is a deputy from southeastern Gaziantep province, was presented to the Office of Parliament Speaker.
Thus, the number of deputies who have resigned from DSP increased to 33 while the number of seats occupied by DSP at the parliament fell to 95.
Yilmaz was born in Oguzeli township of southeastern Gaziantep province in 1949. Graduating from Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Construction, Mustafa Yilmaz served as Gaziantep deputy in the 18th, 19th and 20th legislative terms.
Mustafa Yilmaz, who also worked as the Public Works and Housing Minister, was the State Minister for Rural Affairs in the 55th government.
Yilmaz, who also served as the State Minister in the 56th and 57th governments, is married with two children.
