ANKARA (A.A) - 04.07.2002 - AK Party deputy leader Abdullatif Sener said on Wednesday that they applied to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) regarding the decision of the Constitutional Court about the annulment of the foundation membership of AK Party leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Speaking in a news conference in the parliament, Sener said that the decision of the Constitutional Court which was taken on January 9, was published on April 19 and a period of six months was given to the party.
Sener said that Erdogan applied personally and the headquarters applied on behalf of AK Party, adding that they have not taken a decision yet about the assessment of the six-month period.
