KARAMAN (A.A) - 22.06.2002 - Saray Biscuit and Food Industry Company in central province of Karaman, in last 1.5 years, exported 1 million U.S. dollars of foodstuffs to Senagal, Turkey's opponent in the World Cup quarter-final.
Saray Company Director General Adnan Akgul told the A.A correspondent on Saturday that they had set up perfect commercial relations with Senegal.
Noting that they exported 1 million U.S. dollars of foodstuffs to Senegal in the last 1.5 years, Akgul said, ''our biscuits, cakes and chewing gums are in greatest demand in Senegal. We aim at increasing our exports to Senegal in coming years.''
Akgul added that they would intensify their commercial relations with Senegal, and broaden their market in African countries via this country.
