Turkey Beat Senegal 1-0 With Golden Goal

OSAKA, Japan (A.A) - 22.06.2002 - Turkey beat Senegal 1-0 with a golden goal by Ilhan Mansiz in the 94th minute on Saturday to reach the World Cup semi-finals for the first time.
Umit Davala crossed from the right and Ilhan swept the ball into the net to break the deadlock after the teams had finished goalless at the end of normal time.
Turkey will meet Brazil in the semi-final in Saitama on Wednesday.
