Israel Confirms That Murderer Of Major Toytunc Was Killed

ANKARA (A.A) - 18.06.200 - Israel confirmed that Palestinian activist who was killed in Hebron earlier on Tuesday, had been involved in killing of Turkey Major Cengiz Toytunc.
Israeli Embassy official told the A.A correspondent that the 22-year-old activist, Yusef Besharat, had been involved in killing of Major Toytunc in Hebron on March 26.
Confirming that Besharat had been a member of the Islamic Jihad, the same official said that a detalied statement would be released on Wednesday.
Major Toytunc and Catherine Berruex of Switzerland were killed in an armed attack in Hebron on March 29.
FOREIGN MINISTRY CONDEMNS SUICIDE ATTACK IN JERUSALEM
Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condemned the suicide attack in Jerusalem this morning which resulted in killing of 20 people.
The ministry issued a statement and said no reason could justify a terrorist attack, noting that, ''it is obvious that this attack was staged by those who do not want peace, and who cannot bear even the smallest positive development.''
The statement said, ''Turkey harshly condemns this terrorist attack and shares the sufferings of Israeli people.''
