Minor Earthquake Shakes Sivas And Tunceli

ISTANBUL (A.A) - 18.06.2002 - A minor earthquake shook Hafik township of central Sivas province on Tuesday.
Officials at Bogazici University Kandilli Observatory Center and Seismology Institute said that an earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale was recorded in Hafik township at 11.08 a.m.
A moderate earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale jolted eastern province of Tunceli at 05:58 p.m. on Tuesday.
Bogazici University's Kandilli Observatory and Seismology Institute said that the epicenter of the quake was Ovacik town of Tunceli.
