Romania Extradites Top Pkk Member Tayfur Urum To Turkey

ANKARA (A.A) - 18.06.2002 - Romania extradited Tayfur Orum, a top member of the terrorist organisation PKK/KADEK to Turkey.
Romania had earlier extradited another terrorist who was captured with a fake identity card in Romania in February.
Tayfur Orum, who was taken into custody for having fake identity card and for having connection with the terrorist organization, was extradited to Turkey on June 13.
Officials said that the terrorist organization PKK/KADEK can suspend its activites in Romania as the latter prevented significantly its activities against Turkey within the scope of the agreement on fight with terrorism signed between Turkey and Romania.
