A Byzantine Church To Be Restored

BOLU (A.A) - 16.06.2002 - A 1,200 year-old Byzantine church is under restoration by a non-governmental organization called Local Agenda 21.
Bolu Local Agenda 21 Secretary General and Bolu Deputy Mayor Riza Elibol said on Sunday that they launched restoration works for the Byzantine church in Seben township which had been built between A.D. 842 and 1204.
Elibol said that they arranged a tour to the township and put a sign in front of the church to inform the people who visited the region.
